In addition to using the patented Jupiter Biostone Filter, the Athena also includes a Carbon Block sediment filter under the covers of the machine. The Athena can attach to your faucet or using an Optional Kit installed under your counter. The Athena is the only Emco Tech ionizer that offers on-board dual filtration capability. It cleans your water to be 99.9 percent contaminant free. The Athena incorporates a pre-filter and the revolutionary Biostone Filtration System. The pre-filter makes the Athenathe only ionizer that gives you ability to quickly and easily add a specialty cartridge to your system onboard , No filter housings to hook up or difficult, extra connections to make. If you have a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system or a unique filtration requirement such as needing to remove lead or arsenic, you can order and install these specialty cartridges directly into your ionizer. The Athena offers you the absolute zenith of cutting-edge electrode technology. It employs the new mesh electrode which effectively increases surface area. When a cross section of an electrode is examined at 700 times magnification, you can see that the electrodes are now covered in a super fine mesh with very distinct high points and valleys. I LOVE it!!! My reason for starting on this water was that it's the only system I've found that removes fluoride from the water that is not reverse osmosis (which also removes everything else -- the good minerals and strips our bodies of what it needs). The benefits that I'm seeing so far from drinking this water are: 1. it actually tastes really good -- I used to put lemon in my water because I didn't like the way it tasted and now I don't. 2. I feel much more hydrated!!! 3. My brain fog is finally clearing. If I could afford this filter I'd definitely buy one - hahahaha. I wish it were cheaper but it's not so for now I'll have to be happy getting it from my yoga center. |
