This is the first time I write a review. I just feel so bad about this product and decided to write a review for this product (purestone CT-1). The upper housing got cracked exactly after one year (moderate home use: I have never dropped it!). The housing is made of hard plastic, which I am sure will break down in a year or so due to the "fatigue" since the water pressure varies heavily (when in use, pressure is on, but when not in use, pressure is off. We repeat this process dozens of times a day. I cannot believe if it could last several years unless only one person drinks water through this system once a day...) The problem is that there is no customer support (or no company?). You will receive an instruction sheet which states "a lifetime warranty" from CDW Systems. However, no address, no phone numbers, and no email addresses are there. I found this company on the web. But emails were unreachable when I emailed them, answering machine was full when I called.
