Constructed of a shatter resistant, high impact strength non BPA copolyester; the system comes complete with two purification elements, a base and utilizes the latest technological advances. This system has a storage capacity of about 2.75 gallons and when in use it stands 26.5 in height with a diameter of 9. The system stands 21 when used without the base (included). Configured with two Black Berkey® purification elements the system can purify over 4 Gallons per hour. The Berkey LightTM system is designed for use during travel, outdoor activities and during unexpected emergencies. This powerful system purifies both treated water and untreated raw water from such sources as remote lakes, streams, stagnant ponds and water supplies in foreign countries, where regulations may be substandard at best. Perfect for outdoor activities and a must in hostile environments where electricity, water pressure or treated water may not be available.

This thing filters water better than I could have imagined. Please Read:After much online research and looking over the LSU Lab, Spectrum Labs, and University of Arizona tests, I bought a Berkey Light with the 2 black elements and 2 free fluoride filters. I prepared it to the letter, and ran a few buckets of water through the reservoirs until the fluoride filter dust was no longer present. My water source has always been tap from Los Angeles. Any idiot knows you don't drink the tap here, so I put it to the test... The most noticeable difference was in the smell - I couldn't detect any presence of chemicals or chlorine that the tap had. But, it didn't taste right; there was still something very much in the water that you know shouldn't be there. Normal bottled water didn't taste this heavy or stale.
